Google has a Website Translator you can add to any page on your SwimOffice site. It has a language dropdown for visitors to select their desired language, which will looks like one of the following based on the Display mode you select.

Google Translate widget - vertical
Google Translate widget - dropdown only
Dropdown only
Google Translate widget - horizontal

Once they pick a language, it will translate everything on the page to that language.

New CMS users

Add this component to the first or second layout section at the top of the home page so that it will appear on all other pages.

  1. In the side menu click Website Design.
  2. Click the Layout Section overlay in which you want to add the feed.
  3. Click Select component(s) to add.
  4. Click the Google Translate checkbox and then click Select.
  5. If desired, drag and drop the Google Translate component where you want it in the layout section.
  6. Click Save.
  7. If you want to configure it, click the Google Translate overlay, make your changes, and click Save.

Chameleon users

You will need to add the code that the Google Translate site generates to every page you wish to offer in other languages.

  1. Visit http://translate.google.com/manager/website/?hl=en and follow the steps.
  2. For your Website URL, enter it in the form of www.teamunify.com/teamalias, where your teamalias is found on My Account > My Tutorials.
  3. On the final Add Plugin page, copy the code in the box and go to your SwimOffice site.
  4. For the home page,
    1. Click the Edit button (if you do not have an edit button, click Team Admin > Website Design > Website Layout Configuration > Main Text tab at bottom).
    2. Paste the code in the Main Text box.
    3. Important: The code MUST be one long line. You will need to join all the lines together for it to work. If you have trouble, try using the following code, or contact TU Support for assistance.

    4. Click Save Changes.
  5. For almost any other page,
    1. Click Edit in the upper right.
    2. Click Source in the upper left of the editor.
    3. Paste your code.
    4. Click Save Changes.
  6. Repeat the above step for all additional pages.
