To add a link to a document to a page in Chameleon, you must first upload it to Documents/Images, copy the URL, then link to that URL.

Upload file and copy URL

  1. In the side menu click Team Admin > Documents/Images.
  2. If you previously uploaded the desired document, skip to step 6, otherwise click Add New.
  3. Click Browse... or Choose File.
  4. Navigate to the desired file and double click it, or click it once and then click Open. MAKE SURE the file name only has letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, and the file extension such as .pdf. You will have problems if the file name contains apostrophes or other punctuation.
  5. Click Upload NOW.
  6. Find the desired file in the list, right click it and select Copy Link Location or Copy Link Address.

Link to file in editor

  1. Go to the page where you want to link to the document.
  2. Click Edit in the upper right.
  3. If needed, type the text for the document, such as Download Team Schedule.
  4. Highlight (select) the desired text.
  5. Click the chain link icon button (second row, right side).

  6. Paste the URL you copied in the first set of steps.
  7. To open it in a new window, click the Target tab, click the Target dropdown and select New Window (_blank).
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Save Changes.
