If a chart of account (CoA) has never been used in Billing, you can delete it. Once you create even one invoice item with it, you can never delete it for accounting integrity's sake, but you can hide it so that it's no longer able to be used anywhere in the system (except on the CoA Setup tab where the "Hidden?" column indicates its status). However, if you access a screen or report that includes a month with hidden CoAs from the past, you will still see them in the table or report. You can also unhide hidden CoAs.

  1. In the side menu click Billing Admin > Billing Setup > CoA Setup.
  2. Alternatively, you can access it via Team Admin > Registration Admin > CoA Setup.
  3. Select one or more CoAs.
  4. Click Delete, Hide or Unhide to perform the desired action.
  5. Click OK to confirm your action.
