Why there are other team's times in meet results
Admin Level - Email/Print/Calendar
- To see the context for the below explanation, go to Results by Meets.
- Chameleon users: In the side menu click Team Admin > Time Reports.
- New CMS users: In the side menu click Events & Competition > Meet Results.
- Click the Results By Meets tab.
By default you will only see meets listed in which your team participated. If you set the Show dropdown to ALL Teams in LSC and click Search, you will be able to see all meets and results for teams on the TU platform even if you, as a team, did not participate. That is because all meets that different teams upload are stored in a common TeamUnify database. This works much like the USA Swimming SWIMS database.
Likewise, when you click a set of results, the LSC-Team dropdown will list any other teams that participated in that meet.
This function is great for seeing how other teams are doing, what the other team’s times were in a competing meet, what meets have been swum and also when an athlete transfers to your team, their times will automatically attach once you update them in your account/member admin database.
Times are public domain and TeamUnify does not have an option to turn off other team’s times.
